That day, I purchased a pack of cards for 30 cents. Inside of the pack, I found a card of New York Yankees Star and future Hall of Famer, Reggie Jackson. It was Topps card #300. I fell in love with the hobby again that day.
Today, some 33 years later, I am still collecting. In this blog, titled “One Collector’s Opinion” I hope to take you back into an earlier era of the hobby. How did you get started? Feel free to leave a note in the comments.
